I’m Kayen, a creative filmmaker and performer currently in my final year of secondary school (6VWO), with a passion for film and visual storytelling. My work focuses on exploring human emotions and telling stories that are intimate and impactful. I’ve created two short films addressing sensitive and personal subjects, showcasing my vision and approach to filmmaking.

In addition to making films, I have experience in front of the camera. I’ve acted in various films and TV productions, appeared on Prime Video, and performed in theatre, including at the National Theatre in The Hague. I have also featured in commercials since the age of three, worked as a model for different brands, and collaborated on a larger project with Pop Trading Company. This diverse background allows me to grow both creatively and professionally and strongly shapes my perspective on film and visual storytelling.

I believe in stories that resonate and projects that leave a lasting impact. Through my work, I aim to capture emotions and connect with people in an honest and powerful way, exploring stories that people - including myself - don’t usually talk about.
